About Us


Instituted to DG Vaishnav in 2019, Marketing Management is the Latest specialisation in a Bachelors Degree in Commerce. This three year course aims at exposing the students to the excitement of marketing with practical experience.

Cognitive Development Programme 

We strongly believe that it is not enough to teach just from the books. There are a myriad of skills that cannot be taught from just text. The Cognitive Development Programme tailored to the needs of each student, helps them excel in their forte. This academic year, the students will be exposed to over thirty Skill Development courses as Seminars, Workshops, and Conferences.

Microsoft Office Suite

Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Refreshing the fundamentals and learning advanced modules of this key programme.

Presentation Dexterity

Learn to speak publically, make a captivating presenation and engage an audience.

Digital Designing

Photoshop, Corel Draw and Blender.
This is a prerequisite in order to design advertisiments, create posters, websites, etc.

Essentials for Marketing

Learn to draft contracts, study brands, analyse pricing and conduct a research analysis.

Communication

Improve your content writing skills, basic vocabulary and overall command over the language.

Tally 

Learn the basic and advanced features of Tally, and its indispensable role in todays work place.

Teaching Methodology


As Marketing Management aims at creating employability for the ever-evolving modern future, this course aims at adapting contemporary methods of tutoring.
Students will be required to do an intensive study about marketing strategies, market research, etc., by conducting a thorough review and analysing the given data.
Students will be given exposure to real-life work environments where they will be able to experience concepts in real-time. This type of experiential learning will truly enhance the learning experience.
The students will be assisted in choosing a requisite internship course during their second year which will give them a true taste of what is to come.

Kotler's Quorum


Kotler's Quorum is the student forum of the department.


When it comes to getting an absolute hands-on experience of organizing, planning, and executing large scale events and programmes, there is no place else you want to be.


The amount of exposure that a student gets from being in this committee, will truly help them develop into a much better version of themselves.


The students will gain immense knowledge about the skills that are indispensable to the work place.


Kotler's Quorum has in store over 30 events such as Seminars, Workshops, and Skill Development courses, it plans on conducting in the year 2021 - 2022.


We aim at benefiting society as much as we do for the students. Kotler's Quorum undertakes several social issues and finds a solution for them.

Flagship Event - Plenum

Plenum 2022 was a two-day flagship event of the department of BCom Marketing Management that was conducted on the 6th and 7th of May 2022. Plenum 2022 was aimed at bringing together a congregation of the top brilliant minds and marketing geniuses in today's world of business and marketing, to address the young minds of our generation. Unlike a majority of the programmes conducted, PLENUM was curated for the sole purpose of having a takeaway at the end. We aimed at this programme to benefit the future career paths of the students, and the wide scope of knowledge they were able to imbibe about the world of Business and Marketing. Plenum predominantly had two aspects to it. The first was the Academic aspect known as the Conclave. The second was the cultural aspect known as Insignia which aimed to bring the festive and vying spirit of the college students.

Value Added Courses 

Photoshop Workshop was conducted so that students could learn how to design Posters, Business Cards, Letter Head, Brand Logo, Etc. for a company for the purpose of running Ad campaigns or social media posts.

Students were certified for the same.

Excel Workshop was conducted so that the students can learn how to easily handle and integrate data using other Microsoft softwares.

Students were certified for the same.

Internship & Placements

The Students of marketing management got a lot of internship opportunities in their 2nd year and the also got placed in top companies towards the end of their 3rd year.
